Out of curiosity, why do pointy ears cause angst? -_-;

Because it makes her different than all the other people and they make fun of her for it. It's a major cause of angst as everyone shuns her for being a freak. Thus giving her character flaws!

Oh my. That is practically classic Sue.

No. I lie. It is classic Sue. Being hated for no reason. Having a wild animal as a companion. Curves in all the right places. Tragic back story. Really having parents that belong to someone else.
