Obviously I will like to see Kimi ni toodoke, while I want to see Ouran I think the manga is to 4 dimensional to be adapted I dunno since Im a fan of it I dunno i it could live to my expectations ;////;
It's true--you will need to kind of allow a stretch. I remember with Hana Kimi I had to go in with not supremely high expectations because it was the first manga I ever read and Nakatsu was the first character whom I absolutely loved XDXD Although then again Toma did perfectly as Nakatsu <3
I wonder what Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge (Perfect Girl Evolution) would be like as a live action. Wouldn't it be fun? XD I just think Kyouhei and Sunako are awesome ahahahahaha
Very true--the casting has to be really good, but it also has the chance of becoming really bad if the wrong people are cast XD It's kind of like--you want to see it, but only if it's good LOL
Originally it was Yamashita and Gakky, but then the rumor replaced Yamashita with Matsujun, and then the drama became Smile. Don't know how that happened. But yeah after hearing those rumors it made me want to see Kimi ni Todoke even more XD
Ah~ That rumour xD I think my sister told me about it, but she forgot the manga title, so I just forgot about it ;P I'll have to check the manga out. I need to read more shoujo xD
I see that you are also mention Perfect Girl Evolution. I used to joke with my sisters that Ohkura would make a good Takenaga xD

I think One Piece has to be staged pretty well for it to be done well. Because I just keep thinking--if things are not done right and the nature of the manga is not come across--then so much is lost XD
I agree about Ouran. I love it and I've wanted to see it as a drama for a LONG time, but after the string of similar types of dramas, it makes me less inclined to watch it for fear that it just sticks in the same category as the others. Also--the anime is supposed to be more cheeky and making fun of these cardinal shoujo heroes, so if it's portrayed in the wrong way then I'd be sad XD
Yeah it'd be interesting to see how they turn into animals. And it's true--the story's long and a lot of stuff happens in it, so if a drama was ever made, a LOT would have to be cut out. LOL Fushigi Yuugi seemed to go on forever but I enjoyed every minute of it XD
Furuba!! I wanna see the characters more than the animals...so would love it to be made into live action in a fantasy wish..hehehe. Yeah, the animals turning is the wary part - I heard the Luna in Sailor Moon (although no transformation) looks alike a puppet (though I never seen it to make my own comment). But a tiny hope burns as 'The Golden Compass' type transform to animals was good..
Fruit Basket characters is a whole lot of fun...a probably a whole batch of ikemens again. Hahaha...I love Kyo, and have been obsessed in imagining Toma as Kyo (is it the Naktasu hair)...c'mon, wristbands, hair, awesomeness..it's destined...hahahaha *dreams*
Yeah that's the thing--it would have to have good CGI otherwise I would be very very sadface XD Also with the upcoming Alice in Wonderland adaptation by Tim Burton they'll have CGI-ish characters that I hope turn out well *crosses fingers*
I like Kyo too, but my favorite character has to be Ayame. I would probably fall in love with whoever ends up playing that part XD Any of the mabudachi trio actually. And so true about the Toma thing--I always imagine him in different roles because I think he has such high capabilities so I basically place him in anything lol
Ayame flamboyancy gotta be someone dazzling to pull it off. Ha..so many faves in the book, so want to see come alive. Momiji was like a cute little boy and the he he grew to be kinda spunky spunky...and his little crush on Honda was cute.
Though, I wouldn't imagine Toma as Yuki (I like the sunnyness, manly, angryness, softhearted of Kyo XD. Yuki is far too quiet and that certain gentleness). Lately been thinking Yamapi image could be ok as Yuki....hahaha. Hmm, and I never know which actresses are suited for the girls parts...
Momiji was really awesome. So sad too. It has to be somebody who can be cheerful but can also pull off the emo and depressing too XD Because omg was his story sad ;_; Yeah somebody to play Ayame--so awesome heehhe
Yeah he could probably pull it off. Toma I haven't seen yet play the 'princely' character so wouldn't know how Yuki would be pulled off but yeah Yamashita could probably do it. I don't really like most young Japanese actresses but I would look forward to who would play Tohru's best friends. They are so kickass XD
i'm only a fan of shoujo mangas so my knowledge is quite limited. those that i'd want to see adapted would definitely be yamato nadeshiko and ouran. I heard Nobuta was loosely based on that but i'm not satisfied lol i want the works: the boys and living under one roof. :P but the boys are so f4-ish so that's gona be hard. as for ouran, if it ever gets turned into live action (as is rumored since 285 years ago) i hope the lead isn't Maki. :P
Oh Nobuta was? I can totally see that actually 0_o But there's nothing like the actual thing for sure XDXD It's true about the F4 comparison. If it was ever made into live action people would definitely compare the two. But OMG Kyouhei is so awesome XDXD I'd be mostly looking forward to Sunako--it would be so awesome to see a live version of her :3

If Maki doesn't grow her hair long, she'd probably get this role. Seriously people would just expect her to get the role. I hope the Japanese, IF and WHEN they really FINALLY turn this into a live-action darama, get a new and fresh-faced haruhi.
Yeah that manga is so full of awesome! The anime has not been able to capture it as it was in my head (then again I've only seen like one episode so far) so it'd be so awesome to see a live action that can do it. And I think you're thinking of Yuki. And yeah I think he'd be good in that!!
I think so too. They need a new person who (sorry to smite Maki fans) has range and acting ability. I know Haruhi is more stonefaced and monotone than your average heroine but I would like to see a likable lead. It's so true that they just expect her to get these roles :/
