Hi, I want to translate a bunch of this fics into Spanish but asking each of the writers and then waiting for answers may take a while, particularly in the first season meme. Should I really ask all of them, or maybe put up some kind of post where writers that would NO like their fics translated can comment?
All the fics will get posted in the Spanish 00 community lastgeneration0

I would first of all like to say, "AWESOME!". :D

Second, to avoid plagiarism drama, I'd suggest making a post in these memes or in lastgeneration00 or something, where the writers of the things you want to translate can go un-anon to give their permission. I've seen flamewars erupt in anonymous kink memes over which anon posted which reader comments; if anyone were to get it into their head to say "Yes." on behalf of someone else about something like this, the wank would be nuclear. Plus, I don't know about anyone else, but the stuff I post here is always hot off the press. The version I post in my private journal doesn't have all the spelling and grammar errors, and sometimes contains added or reworded content.

That's a good idea, maybe I could do a post in my own journal. However, I was thinking that the post would be about people that DON'T want their fic translated, any fic that is not listed in the post can be translated.
Mainly because of the first meme, how many of the writers of the first page are still here? We don't really know.
Also, maybe the mod could post a big link in the top of the page so everyone knows?

So if they're not around, it's okay to not ask for their permission? Your logic makes no sense.

How many fics can you possibly translate? Just go ask the authors you want to translate one by one. A lot of people don't want their fics translated, and a lot of people love it when their fics are translated.

I'd prefer that you make a post and have authors say "Feel free to translate this, this, this, and this of mine" rather than assuming permission. I'll link to this thread at the top of the meme; please put a link to the journal where you want people to give you permission in this thread.
