Non-work-related things

Fuzzy and I bought new dishes today. Woohoo! I wasn't really a huge fan of the old dishes, partly for personal reasons, and partly because they simply weren't really my style. I like the new ones much better, even if we do have to exchange a few of them because a few pieces were broken. They're white, blue, and turquoise-ish green, with stripes and ( Read more... )

damn exes - any way you look it they should all be... eliminated - either they remind us of the big hurt, the rejection, our weaknesses and vulnerablities OR they remind us of our big mistakes, our poor judgement, OR worse, what might have been

more power to ya chris but i have not been able to do the ex becomes friend thing with any kind of maturity or moderation - seems we are either not talking for weeks or we are naked and kicking it, then not talking for weeks

but that was 2005 - this is the year i'm gonna grow up LOL

I have a mixed success rate with the friends thing. I don't have very many exes who really matter, and of those, I'm on perfectly good terms with one, not speaking with another one, who's an idiot, and the third (the one who comes up most often)... Not too sure exactly how to characterize that relationship. We do have mutual friends, I do still care about him a LOT, and we do talk periodically, with relative ease - although not very much lately (I think his current situation is probably keeping him pretty occupied). I don't know if I would necessarily still call him a *friend* perse, but he's still there, in a teeny tiny corner of my existence, and not in a particularly unpleasant way anymore. And he's having a baby. Yeesh. I wonder if she's arrived yet...
