It's about 85 degrees in my apartment right now. I'm wearing a t-shirt and boxers and sweating like a dog... I just spent the last 45 minutes giving my TV hook-ups another shot and thanks to some tips from

Ah - perfect.. shoulda known something like that was available in a low cost model.. will have to swing by R.Shack or Fry's and poke around.

We just got the HDTivo and LOVE it. It's a vast improvement over the Series2, which we still have and still love (in the bedroom) -- but dual cable cards and full HD recording is reeeeeally nice. And only 299 now, so I'm SURE they'll be down in price by Xmas.

yeah, it's something I'm sure I'll have down the road.. for now there just isn't enough HD programming to warrant an upgrade. The s2 will just have to do for now.

I still have my Series 1 in the bedroom but I think it might have died on me last time I rebooted it... which is a shame - it had Auntie Mame and Godspell on it!
