Getting the following piece done as a very early birthday present to myself. When I was in Dallas I talked with my buddy Sean quite a bit about his tattoos and how they tell the story of him. Luke's neat! A lady I work with is good friends with him, and she took me to a show of his about two years ago. I'm so glad he's become popular, his talents are really awesome.

How would you execute this as a tattoo? The image is so well supported by the background color - really makes the white 'pop.' Would you just lift the characters off the background? would you have the white bear inked in white?

I love Love LOVE this image and think it's a great idea.

That's a good question... I see it as being an actual square panel so that the background is part of the tattoo rather than just having the characters lifted.
