I have a friend at HBO, and she was just talking about releasing some of the older stuff they have worked on. Older library stuff. I'll check with her.

Oh yeah! I loved that version. The set was great, too. I'm a big fan of plays that are filmed, especially if they don't try to do too many camera tricks. Just leave a static stationary camera. It's a play! Don't be ashamed of it!

Other favorites: HBO's "Camelot" with Richard Harris and "Noises Off!" with Carol Burnett.

We've already established that you and I both suckled on HBO's teat as youngsters. So, it shouldn't be any surprise that I remember this one and I also enjoyed it. Let me know if you get it, I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I loved that version! Back in the days when HBO didn't have a ton of programming, they would show stuff like that endlessly, which I loved. Barbara Barrie is so great in that, especially when she first arrives up the tons of flights of stairs...

I thought I was the only one who remembered that! I loved those "Straight From Broadway" HBO performances...I actually had a small role as the telephone operator in high school drama, after suggesting it to my teacher via a scene playing Paul in class. I grew up loving that play. I still think my favorite of the HBO series was Wait Until Dark with Katherine Ross.
