I stopped by Best Buy this morning on the way to work to pick up the new Thom Yorke and the new Muse albums.  While I was there I also picked up the newer Keane disc and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as all four items were marked down to $9.99 and I had a $5 off coupon too (score!).  Anyhow, I'm listening to the new T.Y., MUSE as well as the ( Read more... )

Strange coincidence, I just got the HHGttG this last week. I didn't realize some of the outtakes weren't real at first. [laughs]

mmmmmmmtangerine altoids!

That Angels & Airwaves has been my rockin' alone in the car album for the last month. Brent doens't like it so much and I'm pretty sure It's the kind of thing that won't really have much staying power, but I want to burn the shit out of it before I don't like it anymore. Like Asia. And Zebra. And the second version of Bad Company. I could go on...

I loves me some tangerine... yeah, Angles and A-Waves is enjoyable. Having seen Blink live throughout college (they're local to SD) it'll be interesting to see if Tom is still in potty mouth skater doofus mode.

it came out today silly-boots... it leaked on the net about a month ago so it just seems like it's been out forever...

Thanks for this Brian! I always rely on my friends to point me in the right direction. I have heard great things about the Muse release. I have Absolution and love the shit out of it.

The critics have not been so kind to Keane and Mr. Yorke though. I know I will get Thom's but will probably pass on Keane. My "to buy" list is already huge.

The Muse discs are solid gold homeruns... go back and pick up the rest of their discs - they will not dissappoint.

Yeah, have seen some Cish reviews for K and T... but I like both discs. You and I saw Keane live so you know they play an excellent show live. I'm still getting into the disc. It's not blowing me away but there are some solid songs in there.
