New Toys on Tuesday
I stopped by Best Buy this morning on the way to work to pick up the new Thom Yorke and the new Muse albums. While I was there I also picked up the newer Keane disc and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as all four items were marked down to $9.99 and I had a $5 off coupon too (score!). Anyhow, I'm listening to the new T.Y., MUSE as well as the Raconteurs disc and Angels and Airwaves (doing those two for "concert homework" since I'm seeing them both live next week I wanna have the songs fresh in my noggin).
So...
So...
- MUSE = Brilliant so far - wow, talk about hitting one out of the park. Everything I love about them amped up to the next level.
- Thom = will be good for puttering around the house, cuddling, and general hanging out naked on the bed with the fan blowing
- Keane = I like it. Have been listening to it for a while on Rhapsody and bought it because I'm a fan and I heard they need the money
- The Raconteurs - Why haven't I been listening to this more? Sheesh... it's good!
- Angels and Airwaves - a nice break from the rest of the bands on the list. A little more mainstream and pop filled emo'y goodness.
- Guide - a decent flick. read the series so would like to go back and watch it again... has a lot of fun extras too (like made-up outtakes)
