I made a meme!

I'd seen a lot of those Drake memes and thought 'is there some super easy Drake meme generator that makes them all?' One google search later, 'yes there is.'

So here it is. Be kind. It's my first ever meme.

I agree 100% with your meme!

During Covid I actually never wore my mask outside because I always wanted the fresh air. I always distanced myself from people though and everyone was just doing that regardless.

Sometimes I still see people driving their car alone wearing a mask. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t understand that one?

Also I am guilty for going to work when sick but only because I can’t afford to be sick lol. Also there’s not enough coverage for me to take a sick day but that’s more my company’s fault than mine. Otherwise I would definitely be at home recovering!

Thanks. Yeah, the car thing is weird. There really is no point to it! In Korea we legally had to wear masks outside until May of 2022. I hated it.

If I take a sick day off work then everyone else has to cover my classes, so it really messes up all my co-workers days. I've only taken one day off sick in the year and a half I've been there, and that's for when I was truly throwing up.

I've always found masking outside - unless you're in a dense crowd - pretty stupid, and yet... i notice that nowadays i spend more time masked outside than inside. I think it's because the main three places where i still mask up are meeting rooms, elevators and public transport. Meeting rooms, fine, meeting's over and i'm back at my desk, take the mask off. But elevator, put the mask on, then leave the building, then it doesn't seem worth talking it off immediately, especially if i'm going to cycle home. It's easier to carry a mask on your face than around your wrist, especially on a bike where it could get snagged. I think people who go from the elevator to the subway or train probably have the same thought, it's not worth bothering to take it off in between, even though in between is mostly outside. Or if they ride scooters, might as well leave it on for the extra bit of bug or smog protection. So there is some logic perhaps to being more masked outside than inside, even if there isn't a health motivation.

I do wonder about the ( ... )

I always felt uncomfortable in the mask, and was grateful to take it off just for a couple minutes when walking from my school to the subway. But I've noticed that it just doesn't effect some people in the same way and they seem to forget the mask is on, so yeah I can see that for the five minutes between the office and the subway they might just not be bothered enough to remove them.

Talking of the beach, during covid season the family visited Gwangan beach in Busan (just around the corner from where we used to live) and my wife insisted that we all wear these plastic waterproof face masks even when paddling and splashing about in the sea. It never stopped feeling ridiculous!
