One of our Audio Visual techs didn't come in today.  He didn't call, either.  The emergency contact is not answering the phone.  This is very, very unusual.   Even if he was sick, the guy would still come in.  You don't have that many people dedicated to their job like he is.  Our director is going to drive out to his house for a welfare check.  I

That doesn't seem normal for someone to not show up to work without even calling. At least your director took time to drive out to make sure everything was ok - I hope that he's ok!
