(CNN) -- Fifteen camels, several llamas and a potbellied pig broke out of a circus near Amsterdam on Monday. The ringleader? A giraffe who bolted, too.

When I left work this afternoon, it was 'raining' bubbles all over the medical campus. It was pretty cool. I tried to see where the source of the bubbles was...I think it was on top of Detroit Receiving somewhere. Or at least it appeared to be coming from there. I wonder what was making so many bubbles.

Christina had a package that was being shipped via FedEx.  The package arrived yesterday afternoon and it required a signature.  Our neighbors, who haven't been very cordial with us in the three years since we've moved in, signed for the package and held it for her.  When we arrived home, Jean (neighbor) promptly gave Christina the package.  ( Read more... )

This past Sunday, some guy at Farmer Jacks took my grocery cart while I was shopping. The guy was such an idiot that he kept shopping for a few minutes before he realized that it was not his cart. I managed to find the man and he laughed it off stating that 'you can't get men to do the grocery shopping right.'

One of our Audio Visual techs didn't come in today.  He didn't call, either.  The emergency contact is not answering the phone.  This is very, very unusual.   Even if he was sick, the guy would still come in.  You don't have that many people dedicated to their job like he is.  Our director is going to drive out to his house for a welfare check.  I ( Read more... )

The Crown Princess cruise ship listed sharply to port side yesterday off the coast of Port Canaveral, Florida.  The tilted cruise liner injured several dozen passengers, 2 of them were critical.
