I totally agree with what you said about In Fields Where They Lay - plus, it was really good to see you there!

One little note - the "ae" in "Pasiphae" isn't a diphthong. It's actually a tetrasyllabic word (sometimes in English it's spelled with an umlaut over the "e," i.e., "Pasiphaë").

Most of the books I've read have disagreed on whether it should be Pasiphaë, Pasiphæ, Pasiphée... For my show, I decided for consistency, to go with Dædalus and Pasiphæ, pronouncing æ as "ay".

If we're basing it on the Ancient Greek, I can't see a way where my suggestion isn't correct. If we're talking about what people do with this word (as well as any other Ancient Greek or Latin word) in English, well, you have a bevy of options! English is a language that's rife with possibilities, especially vis a vis words from other languages. ;)
