One of the PR people was complaining about how there's no link to the reviews on the BroadwayWorld main page anymore. He totally missed my review of Twelfth

It's interesting that the Times obit refers to Barnes strictly as a dance critic and makes only passing mention of his theatre reviews. True, he did refer to himself as a dance critic but he was a major influence when he was the Times first string critic in getting Broadway audiences excited about Hair and other rock musicals (at the expense of traditional Broadway musicals).

Hope can be very cruel, and hope ain't shit unless it's acted upon. That's what worries me. I am so glad he won, but everyone is on this Obama high; thinking the world is immediately such a better place now. He hasn't even been sworn in yet. I think most of lazy America are waiting for him to snap his fingers and *instantly* make everything better, and they are in for disappointment.
