Nope, just keeping up with responsibilities really.

I know what your idea of "keeping up" is. Don't take on too much.

The only pet I've ever had that wasn't part of some kind of kinky sex roleplay. My cat.

Her name is Salome, because she too is a psychotic little twat of a woman who won't take no for an answer. I received her unwillingly from an acquaintance of mine by the name of Wahanket, a mummy, and she is also a mummy.

That's much more interesting than the average cat I know, I have to say.

My roommate has an alien dragon for a pet back home. He's sentient, small enough to sit on her shoulder, and he can breathe fire.

...Does that count?

Hello again.

Sure, that counts. I have a pterodactyl at home and that counts, so a dragon would count.

Hello, to you, too. Guess I forgot that part.

Did someone go time-traveling and have it follow him home? The pterodactyl?

No, she flew through a rift in space and time that runs the length of our city.

How did the dragon come by?

I've only had a cat, unless things you catch at work count.

What d'you think's happening to the more... nasty creatures, then?

[ooc: HTML fail, sorry!]

I'd say they count if you keep them. Myfanawy was caught as part of Torchwood, in a sense, and we kept her as a pet.

It could have been a one off. And if it's not... well, I'm not sure. We may have to investigate.

[ooc: No worries!]

I didn't keep them, that was more for research to deal with.

Myfanwy?

Right. Hopefully, it was just the one time.

[ooc: Ahahaha, it'd be hard to organize, but it'd be cool to get the whole Torchwood team out fighting the Hair Monster.]

A cat it is, then.

Our pet pterodactyl.

It'll definitely be suspicious if it's not.

[ooc: Ooh that's a good idea! We'll have to talk to all the others]
