[Despite it probably not being a big enough drop in temperature to cause much alarm to mostpeople, the Empress feels like she's just been surrounded by ice. She's not used to these changes at all and can be heard sniffling slightly over the phone as she speaks, teeth chattering.

[She takes a deep breath, exhaling slowly.] Y-yes, of course. I'll t-try. I was more in sh-shock than anything, to find everything m-moved around so suddenly.

Communism is basically a forced idea of "sharing". Essentially, the government takes all the supplies and controls the means of production, and then divides it "equally" among all the citizens.

It totally sucks.

It sounds like a good idea, in th-theory... Clearly n-not so good in practice.

H-how long do you think it w-will last?

Ain't got a clue. I only got to this friggin' town like, two days ago.

Does junk like this happen all the time? The town just changing, I mean?

I d-don't know. It's done st-strange things, but I haven't been around l-long enough to know if it does... this a lot.

It's a bit... disorienting. H-hopefully things will turn back to n-normal in a couple of days. Until then we just have to b-be strong.
