I'm rather sad that only one person commented on my Torchwood fic. In fact, I don't seem to get many comments on anything in this journal anymore, and it worries me.

Thereforce, I beg for comments nudge the lurkers poll!

Please only take the poll if you have this journal friended or read it at least occasionally.

Oh, no, "teaboy" was never meant literally, although Ianto does, canonically, make the coffee and tea for everyone and bring it round to them. But it's only one of his jobs, and possibly less important than the eye candy part. "Tea boy" in the story was more Ianto's unhappy thought about his own role (it's also, in canon, what another character calls him to put him down).

Heh, there's also the thing where if a fic is longer than I want to read at the moment, I will put it in my memories. My memories are currently backlogged to April of 2006. So there are probably some fics of yours that I will like and will comment on, but I am behiiiiiind.

I never do that. Never. And I especially never then completely forget about the story. Nope.

I'm way behind on reading fic, and tend to read it offline these days. On he other hand I generally try to comment on friends' fics the next time I go online after reading it.

One of the really cool things about this discussion is learning other people's reading/commenting practices. I know that if I don't comment immediately after reading a story, I never will. I applaud your memory skills that you can come back and comment later!

Scribbling on the print-out in pencil usually helps.

I should also add, that although I have good intentions, I'm not the greatest at commenting on fic in general, which I know is bad of me because I love it when people comment on _my_ fic. But I also have very limited LJ-time these days, and I have to get creative with it.

I'm not as good as I should be about commenting, either, which in the circumstances is embarrassing funny. And my LJ time, as is probably obvious, is not at all limited! *grins sheepishly*

I actually bookmark everything for later consumption and then read as my mood strikes. I will get to you! :-)
