When LOTR cam out in the theater my online friends and I used to refer to Legolas as the Pansy Elf.

Sounds like how Star Wars was described for me when it came out: "This guy from a farm goes out and rescues a princess and fights the bad guys." I voted to see "The Slipper and the Rose" instead...

They did so much running in those movies I thought I was going to pass out. That is, sincerely, one of the best summaries of LOTR i've ever heard though.
