First off, thanks to everyone who said such nice things about 'Ink on Paper Leaves a Mark' - and didn't mention 'Sharpness of the Outline' at all. I'm GETTING to it. I promise.

Second. This morning I made some really delicious french-toast muffins with maple glaze and bacon. YES. Glazed MUFFINS with BACON on top. quellefromage  - are you reading this?

They were really delicious, actually. And the bacon just added a touch of crunch and salt to cut the sweetness. If you like french toast, though, the recipe for the muffins tastes surprisingly like that breakfast standard. :)

They were really good...and then? *facepalm* In the leftover bacon drippings? I made HASHBROWNS with a nice fat Yukon Gold potato.

Last night I made fried chicken and mashed potatoes and cream gravy and green beans and biscuits for dinner. It's like I've become personal chef for my sis and BIL.

Uh...this probably isn't helping with you being hungry, is it.

It's only lucky that i baked cheesy bread and a coconut cake today so i can forgive you the oh so droolworthy pictures.

Yei on the tart thing. I signed up for the first time so i'm a bit flustered as to how it works, but the anonymous bidding seems good. *nod*

I made bacon cookies a while back. They've got bacon in the dough and are also glazed with bacon on top.
