Time to Reboot
Evacuating the last few files and folders on my laptop before I install my OS afresh. My trusty Dell Inspiron 1100 has lasted for much longer than I could've hoped. The End of the Rebellion
I have to say, I really like the end of Code Geass. I'm pretty flighty about "favourites", but this show has found a spot for now. Liked most of the characters, love the music, animation wasn't too shoddy. Perhaps not a series I'll scour the internet for things spawned from, but overall a happy report. ( Two line spoiler. ) -
New shiny to check out
Just got back from the U.S. open. Unexpectedly got cheap tickets this morning from co-worker. The time investment was lots more than predicted.
New Google toy - Google Chrome, and the story behind it. The ultimate browser? (But I like Firefox!) Will check out tomorrow. -

Old news for others, but new news for me: Skip Beat! anime coming this fall! From the brilliance that brought us Princess Tutu, nonetheless. *happy dance*

Manga inventory shocks me again. Also, time moves.
ellenglo and I swung by the Borders today to pass some time. The manga section continues to grow and grow. I think Naruto's been translated up to or beyond what I've read. Not that I've been keeping up, but wow. Read the first 3 volumes of Wild Adapter by Minekura Kazuya in-store. Glad I didn't buy it back when it was released in Chinese. Of long lost potatoes
Yesterday I re-discovered the poutine while looking up Pomme Frites. It is a delicious dish consisting of french fries topped with cheese curds and doused in gravy. According to Wikipedia, it's apparently a French-Canadian invention. Hoping to taste some this weekend.
