Of long lost potatoes

Yesterday I re-discovered the poutine while looking up Pomme Frites. It is a delicious dish consisting of french fries topped with cheese curds and doused in gravy. According to Wikipedia, it's apparently a French-Canadian invention. Hoping to taste some this weekend.

Oooh, hmmm, a random midnight snack idea.

Now to find gravy... hmm, although I suspect substituting cheese for cheese curd may not attain the same taste...
