Funny, when I started w/that smock generator pattern, it was always too snug - in fact, I popped a shoulder seam! So I've modified it a few times till it's just wide enough but not crazy full. I also merge in bits of this pattern for a high-neck smock, which I later realized is pretty similar to shapes in PoF4.

Hope to see you this weekend -- I'll be with Bella Donna this time, so not in the crafts area! But I definitely want to ogle your embroidery :)

I think I expected it to be snug so I round my measurements up. And thanks for posting the link to the demo shirt - I'd forgotten about it.

And I look forward to seeing you as well. I'll be bringing my finished pieces for folks to look at, as well as the current project. Can't wait for the weekend!

I am liking the smock, and will be using it for my kids next. I would otherwise have used Margo's pattern again, if I can only find the darn thing.
