CUTE CUTE CUTE! I'm so happy for you! She looks like a wonderful little puppy! Nala is a perfect name, too.

She is such a sweetie. I'm very happy that she loves all people and will let anyone hold her. I was surprised at how quickly she took to Chloe, since Mandy was not a fan of little kids at all. And yes, after many suggestions, we decided Nala suits her. Isaac said he's still going to call her "Spock" sometimes though. Hehe.

That is too funny that you had an Angel and a Spike! We almost named the dog Honey because that very much suits her coloring and her personality, but we decided it would be too amusing to yell, "Here, Honey!" or "Honey, I told you to go to the bathroom outside!" LOL.

Isn't she? Yes, I think you would love her. I can't wait till she is house trained so she can sleep in our room. I love having my dog right there. =o)

Since y'all have so many dogs and foster so many dogs, do you have any tips or tricks for house training or separation anxiety?

Aw . . yeah. I love that too! I miss Bebe so much if I'm away without her at night. I have separation anxiety big time. ;P

My favorite house training method has been this ~ Spend one day - (pack your pockets full of pleeennty of treats) with your doggie attached to you via leash. So you catch her before the event - lots of praise lots of treats every time she does something outside. So they get the idea 'Go inside . . no treats . . Go outside . . treats!'. hehe

Not many tips about separation anxiety . . . Ida Rose had a lot. Especially the 2nd time she was with us ~ since I had already left her once. :( But both times after a few days of a routine. She got the idea that I come back. I've heard of timing yourself . . . leave the room 5 minutes . . come back . . leave the room 15 minutes . . come back . . yada yada. However, that hasn't worked with Wilson. :( We are having some issues with Wilson, Daddy and separation anxiety. So if you discover something that works . . . pwlease share!!

This silly dog has no indicators of when she's about to go, inside or outside. I've been watching. I haven't had to do the leash thing because she is always wherever I am! I get up to go to another room, and so does she. I stand at the sink to do the dishes, and she lays next to my feet. She's my furry little shadow. Thankfully she has not had ANY accidents today. I have been taking her out even more frequently, so I'm sure that's why, but still - it's been very nice.

Poor Ida Rose. I wish she could've been with you forever. *hug* =o(
