I, for one, am very glad you are not dead.
I am also glad that no one got injured by the falling tree. This is why I hate nature. Pave the world, I say! ;)

I love trees, but only when they stay standing upright ;) It's been so weird around here this year.

We had a thunder and lightening storm at 8:00 this morning. I don't think I've ever seen lightening at 8:00 in the morning.

The lightening was so AWESOME! It was everywhere all the time. It was like a strobe light as big as the sky. I wish I'd thought to get my camera. It was spider-webbing from cloud to cloud then hitting the ground in huge bolts. Nature at its most deadly beautiful.

Mom and dad's house is supposed to be the storm shelter. With my luck if we had one in the ground it would be full of water ;)
