Enjoy your bone-throw, Anne, and I hope you get soundly trounced by someone who hasn't spent the last three months droning about her role being her ~destiny~.
Well, her mommy played Fantine at some point, and so there's that ~DEEP CONNECTION~, and of course she just threw herself into her audition, and didn't eat for a million years before and during filming and found angrysnotface despair to be a much better take on Fantine than the typical stage production allows for, because ACTING. This is destiny calling, ring ring. And it makes for such a story while promoting the film. I wasn't a fan before, and I'm really not a fan now, heh.
I have to agree with you re: Lincoln. It truly is a brilliant movie, so artfully, realistically done. I am of mixed feelings about Daniel Day Lewis but in this movie he disappeared into the person of Lincoln and that amazed me. I thought Sally Field did an excellent job too, overall I thought Lewis and Field had good chemistry.
I hope you get soundly trounced by someone who hasn't spent the last three months droning about her role being her ~destiny~ This made me laugh out loud. I've paid no attention to her or the promotion for the film, but pretty much anyone starts talking about "destiny" it's not a good thing. :-)
