the city of falls church has several small, yet amazing parks, just waiting for a spur of the moment game of dodge ball, or just a passer by's gentle footprints on its cool green grass. sometimes i'll find a new one, or just rediscover an already uncovered park, and i'll start to wish i had someone to explore them with. i remember when i had ( Read more... )

we had dodgeball clubs in highschool and we played in a church.
i miss dodgeball.

i don't know what you girls are talking about but i think i might and it sounds cool. i wish i had dodgeball crews at my high school.

home will always be there. the people might not all be there, but the places that mean them most will stay. i miss seeing sunsets in general. there's too much haze here.

on Mondays after Fort Reno shows (in the summer), there are dodgeball games in the parking lot of White Flint Mall.
I dunno if you've heard about Fort Reno. it's my favorite place ever in the summer though. big park with free shows every Monday and Thursday of local bands. Fugazi usually plays.

Dismemberment Plan played there awhile back. I suck at dodgeball..I don't think I'm good at grasping the whole "dodge" part.

yeah. I went to see them last summer and the summer before, there. except the most recent one got rained out sort of. it was still fun though.
we went to the Whole Foods across the street, all these kids, and they had to put up "caution: wet floor" signs.
