Lost Finale...

It honestly feels like I've lost a close friend now that LOST has come to an end. It's hard to say farewell, and very bittersweet. It's nice to finally have answers, but answers also mean the end, and for me this feels like the end of an era as opposed to just the end of some show. It's been my favorite on-air TV show since it very first started. I

Michael and Walt were escaping the island on the raft when the others (people living in the old Dharma camp, under Ben and Jacob) found them, took Walt, and blew up the raft. Later, Michael agreed to work with the others in exchange for them letting Walt leave the island completely.

Everyone in the church is dead, whether they died on the island or in the distant future of old age. The time that everyone who was in the plane crash spent on the island was the most important times of their lives, which is why they appear as they did when they were on the island while in the AU/purgatory, and why they are all together while in the AU/purgatory.
