It’s hard to figure out what to do with a bunch of rocks. I mean, you could keep them and let them gather dust on a shelf- a mere shadow of the memories they represent, or you could collect more and make something from it- keeping the meaning and memories in a more solid form that you can pass down being something with story. It's been interesting to read about. It looks like the adventure was well worth missing ALA & Fanime.
Well, I don't think that was much question, but still, it's hard to pass on cherished times. I was considering taking a job in Amsterdam, but passed mostly due to not wanting to pass on good times with established friends. I regret that choice to not go.
And yes, people need to say yes more. So many adventures/experiences to be had - maybe they're not all a good idea, but you can't really know for sure unless you give it a go. And if things don't go well, then you've learned and still have a story to tell.
