I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this idea. I need to do the same with Sophie all the freaking time and it's driving me insane!

Yep. Thank you for writing this for me. All of it. Everything. Except Jacob would love the squirt bottle, he would think it's fun.

I brought it up to the kids the other night and they were like "yea! lets do it!!!" Doh!

LOL I totally agree with you. A friend of mine told me she used to keep a little bowl of water out to splash her daughter with when she got mouthy. Same idea as the squirt bottle...just to get her attention and make her stop.

I ended up buying a gently used heavy duty coffee table in '07. It holds up to my Big kids sitting and standing on it.

I still have to remind my kids often not to do stuff, especially, Andrew (and he is 14!)
