The first time I ever got stung by anything was in Peru - I got nailed by a little wasp, because I leaned on her by mistake. Whups. >.<

My first bee sting? At work! Woohoo! The two that I got the other day were my 2nd and 3rd... and I'm sure I'm probably going to rack up some more over the course of the summer, haha. I'm a little curious to find out whether honey bees or bumble bees hurt more... and I'm sure I'm going to find out at some point in the near future! Heh.

And I've been trying to reply to a couple other of your comments, and my computer is being a complete jerk, and says "error" when I hit the "post comment" button. Gah! I'll keep trying, but I'm sorry if I fail completely!

I'm sure I'll be finding out soon (re honey vs. bumble bee stings) - it's been revealed that the easiest way to get honey bees from their hive to the cages we'll be having them in is to hand catch them. I don't know about these honey bees, but my bumble bees hate that. Perfect.

Yeah... while I agree that wasps are rather pretty (the wasps in my insect collection are really pretty... one of them is mounted perfectly with wings out and body flight-like... it makes me happy), they're also rather bitchy and I'm not exactly a fan of getting stung. Heh.
