56 furries (including a few out-of-staters and one from Canada) converged on Kenmore Lanes in Kenmore, WA (20 minutes northeast of Seattle) last Saturday for the latest installment of Furlife: Seattle-Area Furries' epic fursuit bowling meetup series, When Furballs Strike IV! We had 21 fursuiters in total, part of another fantastic turnout.

Sunday's big fursuit outing at the city of Bothell, Washington's annual festival, RiverFest, went better than I could have ever imagined.

Redclaw and I went last year and were very well-received at this family-friendly venue, so I took it upon myself to organize this year's outing and get a good-sized crew together... and did we ever have one!

After 16 fursuiters showed up to the last When Furballs Strike meet in February, and with a number of those suits now gone or out of town, I would have thought 18 or maaaaybe 20 would have been an amazing improvement from several months ago.

The much-anticipated grand opening of the new Meerkat exhibit in the Adaptations building of Seattle's award-winning Woodland Park Zoo was on April 30, 2010.

These guys are sooooo cute! And wouldn't ya know it there was also a meerkat mascot fursuiter interacting with the kids. The performer in this video was great, he was a lot of fun and really in ( Read more... )
