This is fantastic. You have the characters down, completely. A lot of Logan/Veronica fic concerning the kiss hasn't been from Logan's POV, and if it is, it doesn't really feel like Logan. But this really does, with the development of his feelings and relating it to prior instances. Great job, thanks for sharing it. :)

Thanks for taking the time to comment. Re: Logan POV--now that I think on it, I've always been somewhat drawn to writing from the male perspective. I wonder what a psychologist would say about that. :)

This is without a doubt the best post-kiss fic I've read thus far. That's not to say that others haven't been good because I've enjoyed almost every one that I've read. But this one seems more truthful/honest/real. I could see this scenario playing out almost exactly in this manner on the show. You've nailed their characterizations perfectly. Yes, Logan played Knight in Shining Armor to Veronica's Damsel in Distress, but that doesn't mean that everything is going to be coming up roses for the two of them from now on. They both have lots of issues to work through. Veronica has precious few reasons to trust Logan, and Logan still has a lot of pent up anger. One great kiss does not a perfect relationship make. I think the best part is when Veronica let him know that yes, she has been counting, but that doesn't mean she's going to make herself completely vulnerable to him.

I hope you will wrote more V/L fics in the future. I'll be eager to read them :)

I like this a lot; I love your take on Logan, especially his thoughts on Leo. *g* See, I was into the Logan/Veronica before The Kiss, and since then, I've been feeling a little bit of canon-letdown, if you know what I mean. Not that they can't take it somewhere good, and I hope they do. I just *really* hope it's something pretty much exactly along the lines of your fic. That would make me so happy, and I'm a little bit more optimistic after reading it. Thanks for sharing!
