I was packing my room two days ago, and I dug out quite a few different magazines, dating back to 2006 issues.
Most were bought because I liked JJ Lin A LOT at that time.
I suspected I might have overlooked some Jpop stuff, since I was really into Jrock stuff during that period as well, so I flipped through the magazines.
And true enough... there ( Read more... )

HAHA YOU LIKED JJ LIN??? LOL. HOW CUTE.
And yeahhhh ew WHO THE HELL ARE THOSE PEOPLE?!?!?! (in the first pic) when I first looked at it I didn't bother paying attention to the picture, I thought it was like a 2005 picture of Arashi. Till I read what you said about it. AND OMGGG YOU DAMN LUCKY. HAVE SO MANY MAGS ABOUT JE. I DON'T HAVE A SINGLE ONE. Even when I used to buy English mags when I was in my own little fandom of English bands. And you bought all those Chinese mags for JJ Lin?? Wah not bad, you must've loved him so much. Now leh?

LMAO YOU GOT ME CRACKING UP AT THE 'HOW CUTE!' AND 'YOU MUST'VE LOVED HIM SO MUCH!' XDDDDD

I was REALLY into him when I was in Sec 1 and 2, along with Jrock and some Epop/rock. Then when JE came along when I was Sec 3, the rest faded away... except Jrock I think? XD
I still like JJ's songs though! If there's any local talent to be proud of, it'll be him and him only.

RETARDED RIGHT. I think it's Shinhwa, and come to think of it, they're not mentioned anywhere anymore so 8D
EH LIDAT CALLED LUCKY MEH? HOW SO! It's all random articles about a particular person, and never about the whole group =__=
I bought some of them coz of the English bands too!
To think they were in front of me all along =.=
When I saw the huge KT page in U-weekly I really went O_O....

HAHAHAHAH IKR BUT HOW THE HELL DO YOU TRANSLATE XIAO WANG ZI INTO ENGLISH?!

Yeah lor. Sad right ;__;

In 2000, I was a 7 year old, so I had little interest whatsoever in things called 'magazines'. XD
But, yeah. See! Bias was already there SOMEHOW...

Lol I wouldn't buy those if not for JJ Lin or some random English artiste I liked was featured in there!

i saw this somewhere on the internet

in the 1800's The chinese subculture dominated Asia

In the 1900's came the Japanese.

And in the millenium, the Koreans started rising. And to be honest no one's ever heard of Korea before 2000, right? They began to rise in 2003 (I googled it) till now. I predict it'll be about a decade. So in 2013 they might be extinct...

But I think that 2007 was a very Jpop era. That's why life was very good back then.XD
