I know you're all about House and Wilson, my dear, but you do write Chase so well.

And I still smile every time House calls that guy Hemlock. It's such a typically succinct, Houselike means of expressing his opinion of the guy's skills. Or lack thereof.

I really love that little exchange where Wilson -- typically -- is trying to pretend, or maybe give Henley the benefit of the doubt: "He seems... pleasant enough." And House, oh God bless House, makes Wilson admit he can't stand the guy.

And that, right there in those few sentences, is SO much of the reason Wilson needs House as much as he does.

it isn't that i can't write the fellows, so much as it is i don't enjoy writing them! but yeah, because the script writers have made cameron and foreman so inconsistent, the easiest of the three for me to write, and keep pretty much in character, is chase.

Oh, good for Chase! I've come to like that particular fellow the most. And I got a very funny mental image of Cameron hugging Wilson and Wilson standing there, sort of awkwardly patting her back ... hee!

And yay for the reappearance of Dr. Wilson -- I have to admit I'd really missed him on the show.

cameron hugging wilson

killed me to write it, too--but i had to have a plot device to keep wilson from observing chase's machinations. so i figured, what the hell, let's make cameron actually useful for a change! ;)

“Wouldn’t have ‘em engrave that plate for the door just yet, Hemlock!” House calls after him loudly.

That parting shot is just SO HOUSE. i love how he calls him "Hemlock" too.

I will be so sad when this series is over, although i'm anxiously waiting for the next installment. You write these characters very well. Also, the ideas you have in terms of plot are very well articulated in your dialogue.

Nice job once again!

i really appreciate that! these last few scenes, especially, have been an enjoyable challenge--and it's nice to know they're working!

I know I haven't been commenting, but I wanted to say that I love how you've indicated that Henley won't go without a fight and that Chase and Cameron have their own plans for getting Wilson back. *grin* Bravo!

I also like that last exchange between House and Chase

chase just couldn't trust that house would make wilson's transition back to 'outside life' smooth, so he had to come up with something! i figure it's just one of those really... uh... fortunate coincidences... that their patient happened to have cancer--and such a rare and fascinating cancer, at that! ;)

Of course. Has to take steps to ensure it's a relatively smooth transition. Yep, just convenient writing. *smirk*
