Yay, Wilson's out! Loved how the discussion worked out and House's frustration and anger at himself felt right on. And it's good to see Wilson willing to admit his mistakes.

And- ewwww! I know that about hotels but just the way he describes it. Such a House way of showing his worry about Wilson's condition without actually saying it. (There are 4 more chapters? House doesn't have to be too worried does he?)

Great series- thanks again for sharing!

*sighs happily*

Ah, Wilson. Isn't it great fun to be best friends with an infectious disease specialist? Hehehehehe.

I really do love the way House expresses care and affection. You've got it right here, and the other thing is that you've caught the way that House's emotions shift so quickly from one moment to the next. That volatility, and the humor you've got here, make a rather mundane scene into something so much more. Of course I've seen this in the making, but it's really a pleasure to re-read.

because god forbid house and wilson should have an actual, serious, sustained discussion about anything! house would, no doubt, explode, while poor, sweet wilson would implode. humor-as-safety-valve; gotta love it!!
