Well Lucas is now almost 11 lbs and has grown almost 2 inches... he is excelling in everything... he rolled from his tummy to his back 4 times now (the first time at 4 weeks old) he can hold his head up for extended periods of time and looks around while holding it up... he is incredibly strong. He is nursing well and sleeping between 4 and 6 hours ( Read more... )

At 4 weeks and 5 days Lucas rolled from his tummy to his back and has since then done it 4 more times... he is incredibly strong and holds his head up for several minutes at a time... it's insane. He is a fantastic sleeper only getting up once through the night... I love having him around... and can't imagine life without him ( Read more... )

Not much to update... busy with Lucas and daily life... still trying to get all the birth announcements and thank you cards written... hopefully they will be done this week. Lucas is weighing in at 8lbs 15 ozs at 3 weeks old... which means he has gained over a pound in 3 weeks... he's a good eater ( Read more... )

July 1 we had a major rain storm that resulted in City flooding... we however were not affected. But we did spend most of the afternoon standing around in the garage watching cars drive through the lake in front of the house... so I was on my feet most of the day. Today we had Lucas circumsized the poor little bee... although I'm pretty sure it's more traumatic for me than him since he hasn't even cried... but then again he never really does. We go for his one week check up this afternoon... he's 8 days, but they count one week since he got out of the hospital. I'm anxious to hear how much he weighs... with ( Read more... )

Well he's finally here... I had a baby boy yesterday...

Lucas Todd was born on July 2 at 6:21 am weighing 7lbs 11 oz measuring 21 inches... more info later. We got home today and need to adjust everyone before I have time to post the whole story.

I'm due on Thursday (June 26) and I was so positive I would be early... and by early I mean June 20 or sooner... I am so depressed that June 20 is over and there is no baby here... I was positive that would be the day... instead I have 4 more days to go... this is the worst (ok not really, but you know)... I really wanted to have this baby June 20 ( Read more... )

I've had almost two full days off of work and have been so busy it's insane, but on the upside I've gotten almost everything done that I need to before the baby arrives... all shopping is done, bills paid, and errands run... just a couple more house things... dust, sort, etc. and I'm set to go.
