6 week checkup and bragging a little
Well Lucas is now almost 11 lbs and has grown almost 2 inches... he is excelling in everything... he rolled from his tummy to his back 4 times now (the first time at 4 weeks old) he can hold his head up for extended periods of time and looks around while holding it up... he is incredibly strong. He is nursing well and sleeping between 4 and 6 hours at a stretch at night then up for an hour to feed and back down for another 3 to 4 hour stretch... it couldn't be much better than this...
BUT he has to go see an orthopedic surgeon (not sure of the date yet) because both his lefs are bowed and his left is considerably worse than his right with it affecting the flexibility in his left foot. He had x-rays done yesterday and I'm just waiting for the call confirming the appointment date... I'm really worried about it but hopefully it won't be anything that can't be fixed.
