As the subject states, I HAVE FINISHED THE MEME. Yeah, the one I said I do way back when? I don't blame you if you don't remember it. monochromanic, ceresi, doctaj, there's no excuse. None whatsoever, which, by the way, sounds familiar. I think it's inspired by nougatpowered :D Because if you head over to her lj, you pretty much find the same thing, except better results.

btw, my site is hosted by http://www.intersabre.com/ on their lowest plan (2something$xmonth) since october. It never failed, aside once when they were upgrading the mysql thing and all the databases went down and so all the sites running on mysql (mine included). It didn't last long anyway.

Have you tried DreamHost? They've raised their set-up fee to what I feel is a ridiculous price, but everything else is fantastic.

Their set-up fee is outrageous right now, I can understand that. I mean, who's gonna pay $60 to set-up a personal website?

When I signed up, it was only $35 (a $25 set-up fee, plus one month), and I got away with it by promising two friends a bit of space for their band's site (and a subdomain) if they paid the set-up fee. Maybe try that? If you also have a friend who needs decent webspace but doesn't want to pay too much for it?

ooi oi, dreamhost's got this promotion going on right now, and if you type 777 into the promotional code thing, you can get a whole year's worth of everything for like, 10 dollars.

I don't know if it's still going, but it's totally worth a try.
