Hmmm, I'm still not sure I actually like my new icon. I think the fact that it's a key gets lost in the barely viewable 1x1 space. Thoughts?

The final cover for the SGA Legacy series has been announced! I've really enjoyed reading this series as I feel it's given (at least so far) some resolution to the characters of the too-soon canceled SGA. This is a modification of a tutorial that jeyla4ever did for sga_beya. Unfortunately, I am not blessed enough to have photoshop so I make do with the much more cumbersome, yet free, GIMP. There are a few different names for things in GIMP vs. Photoshop so there were slight changes to the tutorial in order to get the same effect. These are coloring ( Read more... )
