This chapter is amazing - I loved the mention of Ginny and the future children. The line about getting a kick from bossing James Potter around is awesome!
"There. Harry’s face brightened, just slightly, but enough for now. If only Severus could inspire that light."
Quite heartbreaking, that. I understand Severus, as far as love goes. It makes you feel worthless when, your entire life, all objects of your love and affection have chosen someone else over you. And poor Snape knows this feeling all too well. His love, while obsessive and a bit frightening at times, is still very real and has, for him, always been unrequited. One of the many complexities of Severus Snape that has made him guard his heart.
Wonderful chapter, my dear. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family.
Well, Snape thinking of Harry as Adam was a bit disappointing, actually... Severus tried to get away from what he was doing while Harry didn't have a chance to do the same. :(
I was looking forward to this chapter for a very long time, and was surprised that it didn't turned out to be as angsty as in Harry's PoV. Severus loves him but... he's not normal about it. I'm not even sure if this time is love, or another Lily-like obsession with the only person he's close to. He can't see that Harry is still a prisoner and a victim of the whole thing. Yes, Harry wants sex when they are okay, but they are not in a relationship! Severus is expecting too much from him, while he himself won't give nothing honest to the person he loves.
How are you doing by the way? You must be really anxious and tired, I guess. Greetings to your angels!!
The only downside of having the boys other than tiredness is that it's hard to write sexy scenes when I'm covered in spit up and feel like a mess. :) Thankfully, no one on the internet can see me right now.
I'm not one for sharp lines. I think all forms of love have a bit of obsession in them, especially passionate love. Harry is obsessive in his own way too.

and
would only remind him that, once again, someone else had been chosen over him.

Severus believes he's about to watch history repeat itself again: His love chooses someone else, then dies young.
