Wow. It was so wonderfully tragic. I'm a bit disconnected from my emotions, but I can say this is excellently written. Love it when a story is a piece of life, unexplained and uncomprehensible and generally a tragedy without a beginning nor an end. <3

And yes, I, too, felt that Spock is just taking all the blame upon himself. It reads like model logic of all abuse victims everywhere D:
And with Jim, a phrase comes to mind: it's in his nature. Not as much his fault as, well, his nature.

And I really, really hope that a sequel would also 'write itself', pretty please? =)

Thank you. I am somewhat baffled that a piece like that appeared through me. It's usually not my cup of tea at all.

I like this tale, it does explain a lot. The thing is, I'm not sure about the nature of Jim's nature. He puts up a face for Pike, but with Spock, he's desperate. I'm not sure what he's all about here yet.
