My brain is a vacuum in regards to writing right now. I need a plot bunny and I don't have one, and it's driving me crazy slowly. And so, because I'm incorrigible (not in a good sense, just in the sense of not being able to correct my own behavior), I stalk the kink memes looking for prompts or epiphanies, and of course I get tangled up in another ( Read more... )

If you say so. I had to google it, since the only thing I associate with mimosa is a pasty yellow flower that annoys the crap out of me every March 8th. :P

I love what you said about starting somewhere and ending up somewhere else storywise. It's super interesting.

What I like about posting in bit pieces on the meme is when people interpret things differently from how I do or when they predict things that never darted into my brain at all given the same prompt, or latest installment. It's woderful because that's when you realise there's this multitude of approaches to scenarios and the same setting is gonna make people think of completely different outcomes.

When I decide to try and go for a fill it's more like this:
a) I have a beginning and an end but don't know what goes in the middle.
b) I sort of have a vague idea of what should go in but not the specifics. How to get there (this is kind of dangerous because I may stall.)

The olympics kinda looking forward to a couple of sports. Will have to re-set my TV though.

Paperlegends.... meep I haven't finished editing, but I will. I will. Only because there's going to be so many stories to look forward to in return.

Remember that line from LOTR about walking out the door? *g* Sometimes filling a prompt is exactly like that for me. I may set off with a plan about where I'm going to end up, and then somehow realise as the story goes forward, that I'm walking in a different direction altogether. It's fun but it also freaks me out. :D

I didn's sign up for paperlegends, too many things happening at the same time, and I'm sadly not as productive as you guys. But I'm looking forward toward having many great things to read definitely, so go you. XD
