Nothing like giving canned responses. I'm covering on the switchboard for a bit today by myself...what fun! I get to put on my pleasant phone voice and keep saying "Hello (company) Operator" and "please hold" and "one moment please". Today was a good day. Since I didn't go to bed until 5am, I slept in until 11 this morning. I cleaned our apartment. I picked up socks from WalMart then went out to the homeless camps. Despite it being INSANELY cold outside tonight, it was a great time as usual. We were outside for 45 minutes at the first stop before we retreated to our vehicles. ( Read more... )

I did a workout right after I got off of work to relieve some stress. I was supposed to meet up with some folks to "grab a beer" but they decided to take it easy tonight and save their energy for tomorrow night. I don't like beer anyway...it tastes like carbonated cat urine to me. ( Read more... )
