Hello neglected LJ, I should try not to neglect you so much...

So today I learned that it is completely possible, and in fact not that hard to lock one's self onto my balcony.

I've done the same thing! Well, in my parents' garage. When they were gone for the weekend.

I first attempted to take the door off its hinges; I got the first pin put, but couldn't move the other two. Then I remembered that the car door doesn't get locked. ¬_¬

Sorry, yeah, you're right. I meant the door FOR the car, not the door in the car.

I was trying to not mix up the person-sized-garage-door with the car-sized-garage-door. And failed.

Well, I was locked behind a sliding door, no hinges. I can't get locked in my garage unless I get sudden amnesia cus it's a pad lock, not a key lock. That would have been how I would have gotten in if the back door wasn't unlocked.
