*waves hand as Bale-dipped-in-chocolate licker* ;)

*laughs*

I enjoyed your review, luv! Sorry your Rory boy wasn't on too long. I did get lucky with Christian, as he was on-screen way more than I'd been led to believe. The man is drop-dead sexy in those '30s clothes! :) I agree; the 'look' of the movie is outstanding.

I may go see the movie again next week. Also, plot bunnies are swirling around in my head. ;)

If you go to see Star Trek, there are a lot of pretty people in that movie, and I consider Chris Pine (Kirk) the prettiest of all. :)

I was surprised at some of the negative reviews of this film. It was a lot better than I expected. I wrote a review on my LJ if you're curious. :)

You were the main person I thought of when I made the chocolate comment :)

As for plot bunnies...if you write one with Bale & Rory (there were moments if you squinted) I would be happy. :)

And for what it was (summer action) it was good. If you were looking for anything else other than to be entertained for 2 hours with gorgeous men, you weren't going to get it with this. Not all films have to be socially relevant - I think critics forget that sometimes.

What was his character's name?

I wrote in my review that we didn't need to see Johnny's father beating him on a daily basis when he was a kid. Most of the negative reviews I've read said that it doesn't delve enough into the characters, but, honestly, as Dillinger himself says, he was beaten every day, he likes baseball and fast cars and nice clothes, and he wants to live the high life. That's pretty much it with him, along with all the Depression backdrop ( ... )

Rory's name was Agent Carter Baum. Hope that helps! *leaves carrots for the bunnies*

I liked it as well.

The roomie laughed when I squawked at seeing Rory, because I didn't know he was suppose to be in it.

I was annoyed that he got killed....again.

He needs a happy movie.

Yes, he needs a happy movie. With him kissing a redhead. Showing a little skin would also be good. And NO DYING! He's not allowed to die in any more movies.

So there. I have spoken. *snerk*

I didn't know until I saw photos of him at the premiere on Ebay. (Yes, I bought the photos. Couldn't resist :)

Yeah I saw it... and the moment rory popped up on screen hubby went - wait! then eyed me asking 'did you know he was in this?'

Me: well yeah...

Then he just rolled his eyes...

Though My first instincts watching him was dude were you chanelling Speed through that movie cause there was a few moments it was so Speed.

And of course the plotline story and stuff will end up Sylum somwhere at sometime. Cause how can I not - the man was hot in period clothing.
