Okay, so here's the thing. When Starsky & Hutch the movie came out, Ben said that it wasn't a parody. He said that Todd Phillips described it as if the movie were the failed pilot to what became the show. I've been wanting to write a Starsky & Hutch fic since I saw the movie over a month ago, but I just couldn't figure out what to write. That's when I saw this drawing by ponderosa121, and it clicked.
