Woah, that's an excellent idea! Too bad they don't stick to it though, I think it's a fantastically smart idea to submit your name to a casino when you know you can't trust yourself to stay out.

And ha to all the people that lost money and were able to (successfully I would assume?) sue to get it back. HA, that's hilarious.

Sorry to the people that didn't get to keep their winnings though. LOL. That sucks.

My only slight caveat with one of your examples is that one of the main arguments I heard when they introduced compulsory seat belts in the back seats of cars is that there had been cases where the unsecured passenger in the back killed or badly injured the (strapped in) person in front as they were thrown forward during a crash.So if your passenger isn't using a belt, you might actually be safer without one yourself... Unfortunately my car makes an annoying little noise until I belt up: that's German cars for you.

Hm. Now see I didn't consider that. The fact that if you don't wear it in the backseat and you fly forward and kill the driver... yeah, that's endangering not only your life but everyone around you's.... Hmmmm. Interesting counter-point.
