Oliver’s spent the entirety of Clark’s latest rant on how wrong Lex always is staring at Chloe with a big grin on his face. She hasn’t decided yet if she should blush or sock him one in the jaw.

“I can’t believe I was ever friends with him. Was he always like this? I mean, was I just that stupid? Did I not see it? Everyone warned me, but I was so sure… I was so positive…”

“Maybe you’ve just got really bad taste in friends,” Oliver says, his eyes never leaving Chloe’s face.

Clark stops pacing, turning to look at him. “No I don’t. Chloe’s my friend, and she’s great.”

Chloe snorts, rolling her eyes. Oliver finally looks away from her and towards Clark. “Yeah. I guess what I’m saying is, if ‘friends’ is the track you chose with her… your decision-making skills need to be rewired.”

Hee, that's funny because I was completely a comics girl before I got into Smallville, and I found SV!Ollie incredibly jarring. I loved him, but I couldn't believe in him as Green Arrow, unfortunately. He also seemed to be filling a Bruce-shaped hole, kind of - or maybe I just wanted Bruce on SV really badly! Ah well.

Glad you enjoyed Quiver - I love Roy and Mia in it as well. Mia and Powerpuff Girls! HEART.

Oops, didn't realize that you hadn't finished Quiver! Though I suppose it's not much of a spoiler. Yeah, Roy should be in there for a bit. I haven't read too much Green Arrow (the Batfamily is my main focus because they are absolute LOVE), but I fell for Roy through "Outsiders", which is wacky fun! YAY COMICS.
