Seriously, as much as Christopher Walken scares the bejeezus out of me, if he came up to me and purred at me in that VOICE of his, I don't think I'd have a choice but to follow him.

Hehe... I love Johnny describing the inspiration for his characters. This one is priceless.

Oh my GOSH!!! This was lovely! I have only seen a couple of SH fics, so it was great to read another, I LOVE this film.

I loved lots of lines... Particularly...

He wonders briefly why the horseman’s good humor would make him even more uncomfortable until he remembers that often times killers derive pleasure out of torturing their prey. He fights the urge to vomit. Poor Ichabod; one totally feels for him...yet somehow,(the sadist in one), wants him to have a bad time. *LOL*

“Oh, Ichabod,” the Hessian hisses, his hand rising to stroke a finger down his cheek. “You’re so skittish, and deathly pale. Is it me, or are you always this way?” Nope, sorry, he's always this way. LOVE IT!!!

Icabod's longing for Masbeth...that's so sweet. And the way the Hessian uses it...that's so appropriately perverse.

Really, really loved this fic. Wonderful!!!

Somewhere along the way I developed a taste for Ichabod/Masbeth. Which is odd, because I've never read a fic about them. LOL! But whatever.

Mmmm. Ichabod/Hessian. Too bad I don't have the space for the icon I have for that pairing.

Hessian refers to the part of Germany he's from - Hessen - and some of the tenses are off, but who cares? This is a very good read.

I don't like the Hessian when he speaks a lot, but you make that work here. You've given him a voice that's very clear and distinct, and you did it through dialogue - not many people try to do that. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just hard to manage. But it works here.

I like the atmosphere you made and the tension you created. Ichabod's voice is very good, as are the ways you describe how the Hessian looks. The vocal patterns, both verbal and non, are great.
