*sighs* After what happened to my idol, Silvestris, things haven't been the same. What happened to power-struggles, in-depth characterization, and imaginative situations? All I see is uke!Vexen and rapist!Marluxia.
But I can still have hope, right? Things aren't lost as long as there are fans who care...(?)

Ugh, I think the uke and the rapist stereotype has completely dominated most pairings. -_- So annoying.

I'm curious though; what happened to Silvestris?

Ooh hello! 411 admittedly isn't my thing though there are some fantastic artists and writers who support it. Nonetheless I really love this comm. It's a great place to get feedback on stuff that isn't just about how hot the pairing is or something

Far from being self-serving, this represents some of the most fun I've had in this fandom.

I'm terribly sorry to hear about what happened to Silvestris as well. I admire the hell out of her, and while I wish she liked MY pairings, I have always been a believer in appreciating real talent over pairings (I once explicitly wrote a Zemyx fic - which is a pairing I dislike for that reason.)

Well - I'm rambling long enough, I have an unopened bottle of wine and Canadian TV is showing The Matrix. I'm outta here.

Oh. Re: Zemyx...I mean I wrote it to sort of try and make a statement about "Good" fic should have nothing to do with pairing. I don't think I'm a fantastically wonderful writer or anything outside of academia. I just wanted to say something about how talent is talent no matter what the circumstances.

(And also, my boss looks like Ansem the Wise. It's unbelievably uncanny.)
